Data Protection & Data Processing
This page provides a concise overview of how BLAST TXT handles personal data where customers use the platform to send communications to their own contacts or recipients.
1. Roles
Depending on the service and processing activity, BLAST TXT may act as a Data Controller or Data Processor. The customer remains responsible for the lawfulness of recipient data submitted to the platform.
2. Customer Instructions
Where BLAST TXT acts as a Data Processor, we process personal data only as necessary to provide the Services and in accordance with documented customer instructions, subject to applicable law.
3. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or disclosure.
4. Sub-processors
We may use trusted service providers to support hosting, payments, communications delivery, analytics and other operational functions. Appropriate contractual and security measures should apply.
5. Data Requests
Requests concerning personal data, processing activities or data protection rights may be submitted to support@blasttxt.com.
6. Further Agreement
Where required for enterprise or regulated customers, the parties may enter into a separate Data Processing Agreement setting out additional processing obligations.
